The arrivals deepen PierFerd’s bench of experienced and sophisticated legal talent, drawn from BigLaw and leading boutiques worldwide by the appeal of PierFerd's modern, client-centric approach to the practice of law and the Firm's commitment to technology-enabled legal excellence.
Kelsey Bond joins in New York as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing nearly ten (10) years’ experience advising clients on M&A disputes and issues including those related to transactional liability insurance. She assists insurers with coverage analysis and claims resolution related to representations and warranties insurance policies. Kelsey also represents private equity clients and their portfolio companies in various post-acquisition disputes involving alleged fraud, breaches of representations and warranties, and contingent consideration disputes.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Kelsey was a Senior Claims Counsel at The Travelers Insurance Companies, Inc. She earned a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Kelsey is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
John Domaszek joins in Houston, Texas as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing over 20 years’ experience focusing on commercial litigation matters involving personal injury claims, construction defect and accident defense, and professional liability defense. He counsels organizations across the public and private sectors on claims resolution, transactional negotiations, and jurisdictional issues. During his career, John has taken more than two dozen cases to a jury verdict.
Prior to joining PierFerd, John was Of Counsel at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker. Previously, he was a Managing Attorney at The Government Employees Insurance Company (“GEICO”), In House Counsel at The Progressive Corporation, and a Partner of SBR Law Group. John earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is admitted to practice in Texas and Wisconsin.
Len Fisher joins in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing extensive experience providing counsel to organizations following data privacy and cybersecurity incidents, including business email compromises, ransomware events, third-party breaches, unauthorized access events, and wire fraud events. He assists clients in determining the nature and scope of incidents and applicability of state, federal, and international data privacy laws, ensuring proper compliance, disclosure, and the preservation of institutional goodwill. Len also provides guidance to clients in navigating regulatory investigations from state and federal regulators following a data event. Additionally, he brings civil litigation experience handling a variety of complex civil actions including antitrust class actions, consumer protection and multidistrict litigation actions, and consumer finance litigation.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Len was a Partner of Mullen Coughlin LLC. He earned a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Len is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ezequiel Gutierrez joins in Los Angeles, California as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing substantial litigation experience focusing on land use law, construction law, and architectural malpractice defense. He counsels design professionals from project conception and planning through construction and delivery. Ezequiel also provides strategic legal defense to clients against alleged malfeasance.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Ezequiel practiced with Eugene B. Jacobs, the Legal Services Corporation, Natkin & Weisbach, Suzuki & Ito, and the Public Law Center, representing redevelopment agencies, design professionals, and disadvantaged communities across California. Ezequiel earned a B.Sc. in Environmental Design with a major in Urban Planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a M.A. in Urban Planning, a M.Arch, and a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice in California.
Odile Prevot joins in London, United Kingdom as a Partner in the Corporate Department, bringing over 25 years’ experience focusing on high-stakes M&A transactions and cross-border corporate law. She advises lenders and investors on structuring and executing impactful project developments, notably across Africa. Odile counsels clients across sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, energy, transport, agriculture, defense, and consumer goods.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Odile was a Legal Counsel at IFC (part of the World Bank Group). Previously, she was a Managing Partner of OM Law & Advisory, and a M&A Lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. Odile earned a L.L.M. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and a Master’s degree in Law from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. She is admitted to practice in England & Wales and France.
Julie Reading joins in Seattle, Washington as a Partner in the Employment, Labor, and Benefits Department, bringing over five (5) years’ experience representing labor organizations in a wide range of labor and employment law matters. She also litigates cases in civil court on behalf of individuals filing legal claims against their employers.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Julie was a Partner of Bennett Hartman Attorneys at Law, LLP. Previously, she was a Partner of Tedesco Law Group and served as an Administrative Judge for the Oregon Employment Relations Board and the United States Department of Agriculture. Julie earned a B.A. from The Evergreen State College and a J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Idaho and Oregon.
