Cyber litigation specialist, Adam Chaudry, brings technical and legal expertise – helping clients respond effectively to global data and privacy issues

Adam arrives following over ten years leading his own practice, where he advised clients across sectors including finance, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing; representing publicly traded and privately held companies.
An entrepreneur at heart, Adam has significant experience working with and advising start-ups, understanding their unique business needs and challenges they face.
Adam brings significant legal and technical expertise to PierFerd. Throughout his career, he has led data security incident response teams helping clients mitigate the impact of a cybersecurity incident. He takes a proactive role, advising organizations across legal jurisdictions on data privacy policy and training, privacy by design, and retention practices; complying with federal and state law, and industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
Underlining Adam’s legal expertise is his dedication to understanding the technical implications of various data security issues. Notably, he is in the process of obtaining technical certifications from CompTIA in Network+ and Security+ and is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals in domestic and global privacy frameworks. This understanding enables him to respond quickly to fast-moving cybersecurity incidents and offer comprehensive legal and technical advice to clients.
Adam joins PierFerd’s fast-growing, dynamic, Cyber-Risk, Privacy, and Data Security practice, led by Co-Chairs Stu Panensky and Richard Reiter. The group handles the complete 360 degrees of all cyber and privacy legal issues facing clients including all “peacetime” and “wartime” services.

Adam holds a J.D. from Capital University Law School in Columbus and a Master of Laws from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia. He has been recognized by the American Academy of Attorneys, being named in the ‘Top 40 Under 40’ for Defense Attorneys in 2017.
