Renowned M&A and transfer pricing authority - Ivan Hanna - enhances corporate law bench
London, UK – May 19, 2025 – Pierson Ferdinand LLP (“PierFerd” or the “Firm”), one of the world’s fastest-growing law firms, announces the appointment of Ivan Hanna as a Partner in London.
Ivan has decades of corporate law experience, with an impressive M&A pedigree and extensive knowledge in the area of transfer pricing compliance for multinationals. He also has considerable experience in corporate restructuring, and domestic and cross-border joint ventures.
Ivan’s clients operate across various sectors including financial services, insurance, software & IT, consulting, hospitality, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and energy. Ivan also counsels major private equity firms, and private and sovereign investment funds.
Ivan’s appointment is the latest example this year of PierFerd enhancing its strength in the U.K. with experienced international talent, following the arrival of two leading corporate M&A attorneys - Sima Kanan and Will Parker.
Ivan began his legal career at Baker McKenzie in London. During his seven years at the firm, he was seconded to Moscow and Amsterdam where he worked on international joint ventures, M&A, and equity and debt restructuring projects.
He has held various in-house roles including M&A and Integrations Legal Manager at Accenture - the global multinational professional services company; and Senior Group Legal Counsel for Phoenix Group - the UK’s largest life insurance consolidator.
Ivan holds a B.A. in Business Law and Business Studies from the University of Stirling; and an L.P.C., with commendation from the College of Law, London. He was named as part of the LexisNexis ‘International Legal Team of the Year’ in 2023.
