Daniel Hayward-Hughes Joins Pierson Ferdinand’s Fast-Growing International Disputes Practice in London

Arrives with extensive experience in complex cross-border disputes, insolvency, and crypto litigation across multiple offshore jurisdictions

London, UK – March 6, 2025 – Pierson Ferdinand LLP (“PierFerd”), one of the world’s fastest-growing law firms renowned for its commitment to client service excellence and innovation, announces the appointment of Daniel Hayward-Hughes as Junior Partner in its London office.

Daniel joins PierFerd’s expanding Litigation Department in the International Disputes practice, bringing significant experience in commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, digital asset disputes, and white-collar crime matters. He frequently advises clients on insolvency matters, regulatory disputes, and negligence claims.

Licensed as a Solicitor-Advocate in England & Wales, Daniel has also been admitted in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Bermuda.

Prior to joining PierFerd, he was a Senior Associate in Walkers’ Insolvency and Dispute Resolution Group in London, where he co-led the firm’s blockchain disputes practice.

Previously, Daniel spent almost five years at Appleby in the Cayman Islands, advising clients on high-profile disputes and insolvency matters. This was preceded by a role at Signature Litigation, working on complex multi-party international disputes. He trained at Herbert Smith Freehills, completing his final seat in the firm’s dedicated Advocacy Unit.

In addition to his role as a Solicitor, Daniel has sat as a Magistrate in North London and on appeals at Blackfriars Crown Court.

Daniel completed his GDL and LPC at BPP Law, preceded by a BA in English Literature and Classics and an MA in English Literary Studies from Durham University.

Before qualifying as a Solicitor, he held roles, covering private equity and M&A at Deloitte and Lloyds Banking Group respectively.
