A year ago, on January 2, 2024, PierFerd started operations with 130 Partners joining from an Am Law 200 peer firm, emphasizing culture, a diverse partnership, technology-focused infrastructure and a client-centric model to establish a modern, elite law firm.
A year later, PierFerd has cemented its status as one of the fastest growing global law firms; hired 200+ lawyers; marked its first international market entry; recorded significant global billings; and achieved major commercial and client victories.
The milestone arrival of PierFerd’s 200th lawyer follows a concerted effort by its leadership to sustain PierFerd’s culture and bench strength; growing organically with a commitment to excellence. Each of PierFerd’s 200 lawyers hired in 2024 arrived from preeminent Am Law ranked legal firms; industry-leading companies from various sectors; boutique legal peers, and growth companies.
Partner appointments and organic growth have yielded significant global billings for PierFerd in its first year. 2025 will continue this trend with strong growth anticipated, where PierFerd has already grown itself into one of the largest global law firms by size.
In July 2024, PierFerd marked its first international expansion with the opening of its office in London, UK. PierFerd’s growing UK team serves multinational clients in the key financial hub; expanding its client service offerings.
Many new hires – individuals and groups – are expected through 2025 with a strong pipeline of elite, partner candidates under consideration. PierFerd’s growth strategy also involves further geographic expansion with international market opportunities under consideration.
