Prominent Employment Litigator Joins Pierson Ferdinand
Benjamin Jacobs joins from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, furthering PierFerd’s rapid growth.
NEW YORK, April 3, 2024 — Pierson Ferdinand LLP (“PierFerd”), a technology-driven full-service law firm, proudly announces that Benjamin Jacobs has joined PierFerd as a partner in the Employment, Labor, and Benefits practice. Jacobs was previously a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP and is based in Philadelphia.
Jacobs litigates high-stakes employment cases and advises clients on complex workplace issues. He has secured victories for employers facing discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, breach-of-contract, and whistleblower/retaliation claims, and has obtained crucial injunctive relief in high-profile noncompete, non-solicit, and trade secret cases.
In addition to his litigation work, Jacobs conducts internal investigations related to workplace misconduct and counsels employers to help them comply with employment and independent contractor laws. Jacobs has won cases in state and federal courts (including at trial) and arbitrations for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, professional services, finance, insurance, and technology industries.
