Tod A. Kupstas joins in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Partner in the Intellectual Property Department, bringing nearly 30 years’ experience focusing on patent strategy, technology commercialization, and innovation-driven business counseling. His practice spans IP advisory work, licensing, patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, and trademark strategy for emerging growth companies, established enterprises, and technology-focused clients across a range of industries.

Prior to joining PierFerd, Tod was a Principal at Offit Kurman, P.A. Previously, he served as head of the IP department at a technology start-up, was a Patent Attorney at Siemens AG, and was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). Tod earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the USPTO.

Christina Lesko joins in Chicago, Illinois as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing over a decade of experience focusing on the financial industries sector, with an emphasis on creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and state court alternatives. Christina guides creditors through the bankruptcy process, defending their interests and counseling on compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Prior to joining PierFerd, Christina was a Counsel at Troutman Pepper Locke LLP. Previously, she was a Staff Attorney at the Iowa Court of Appeals, practiced at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, and was a Federal Law Clerk for the Honorable James E. Gritzner at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. Christina earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Wheaton College and a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Iowa.

Timothy (Tim) Reis joins in Atlanta, Georgia as a Partner in the Corporate Department, bringing over 40 years’ experience focusing on intellectual property protection and technology-related contracts. He has advised clients across various matters including technology product development and distribution, commercial contracts in multiple industries, IP protection and licensing, M&A, corporate securities, defense contracts and defense security compliance, and labor and employment counseling.

Prior to joining PierFerd, Tim was an Attorney at Taylor English Duma LLP. Previously, he held in-house and general counsel roles at public and private companies, and practiced at King & Spalding LLP and Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP. Tim earned a B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D., cum laude, from Vermont Law and Graduate School. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and New York.

Craig J. Rolfe joins in Palo Alto, California as a Partner in the Litigation Department, bringing over a decade of experience focusing on complex litigation and strategic risk management. He counsels Fortune 50 corporations, leading technology companies, and executives on high-stakes matters including catastrophic personal injury, product liability, insurance disputes, directors’ and officers’ liability, data privacy, and commercial conflicts, representing clients in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining PierFerd, Craig was a Partner of Lydecker LLP. Previously, he was a Partner of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. Craig earned a B.A. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a J.D. from the Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. He is admitted to practice in California.
