Pierson Ferdinand Boosts its Litigation Department as Experienced Employment Attorney Joins as Partner
Brandon T. Willenberg joins PierFerd’s Employment, Labor, and Benefits practice after founding his own boutique law firm
Los Angeles, CA – October 14, 2024 – Pierson Ferdinand LLP (“PierFerd”), one of the world’s fastest-growing law firms, announces the appointment of Brandon T. Willenberg as Partner in its Litigation Department.
Bolstering PierFerd’s Employment, Labor, and Benefits practice, Brandon brings over two decades’ experience in employment law. He is licensed to practice in California and Nevada.
Brandon has represented various organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, providing counsel and leading litigation before various state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment and Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement.
He has advised employers on the hiring and terminating of employees; workplace investigations; discrimination lawsuits; trade secrets protection; insurance issues; and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Complementing his experience at multiple Am Law 100-ranked firms, Brandon has served as General Counsel and Director of Human Resources at a large non-profit organization with over 270 employees, overseeing all legal, HR, contract, IP, risk management, and insurance matters.
Prior to joining PierFerd, Brandon established his own boutique firm, BTW Law Group (“BTW”), which he ran for seven years. BTW focused on employment law, non-profit training, and in-house counsel. The experience and success of BTW demonstrated Brandon’s entrepreneurial nous and business acumen.
Brandon began his career as a law clerk at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, serving the Honorable James F. Stiven (Ret.).
He is the latest addition to PierFerd’s world-class Employment, Labor, and Benefits practice - led by Amy Epstein Gluck. Brandon will also work closely with Justin Nahama – a previous colleague of Brandon’s at Am Law 100 law firm, Mintz. Justin played an instrumental role in Brandon’s arrival at PierFerd.
