Throughout his career, David has represented top-tier clients across all sectors of the music, film, and television industries in a wide variety of commercial transactions, including matters involving complex rights acquisition and licensing, corporate formation, financing and M&A, intellectual property, and technology matters. He has also provided legal and strategic business advice and guidance to many of the entrepreneurs and technologists whose vision and determination has led to the growing use of blockchain, AI, and other decentralized Web3 technologies, to distribute and exploit music and video over the internet.
David is known for his vast network of relationships and honest broker status in the entertainment/tech ecosystem. He particularly enjoys helping emerging growth technology companies structure and negotiate strategic arrangements with legacy entertainment companies. David was also the former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of BitTorrent, the iconic Silicon Valley technology company whose peer-to-peer protocol enabled the first truly decentralized video file sharing over the internet.
