About
Greg Perleberg has over 25 years of legal and private sector experience handling a variety of business and intellectual property related matters. He represents a broad array of clients in the technology, hospitality, fashion/apparel, and entertainment industries including software and hardware companies, as well as food and beverage businesses (e.g., restaurants and breweries), entrepreneurs, filmmakers/studios, and publishers and individual artists (e.g., musicians, actors, comedians and writers).

Working at the intersection of business and technology, Greg advises clients on complex technology and commercial transactions, including information technology licensing, trademark and brand protection, copyrights, technology maintenance and services, technology development and customization, marketing and advertising, as well as manufacturing, supply, distribution, and other agreements for products and services. Greg has significant experience in digital and new media advising clients on internet, e-commerce and entertainment transactions. He also assists celebrities and athletes assert their right of publicity against those making unauthorized use of their images or likenesses, including internet domain name disputes, as well as helping clients with defamation and other privacy matters.
In addition to his legal experience, Greg spent over seven years working for IBM. In this position, he worked closely with software and hardware designers, marketing and sales teams, advertising agencies, and domestic and international strategic alliance partners gaining valuable insight and understanding of the business needs and pressures of both large and small companies.

A strong supporter of the arts and music communities, Greg’s musical pedigree includes participation in the Minnesota All-State Band and he was a trumpet player with several professional bands.
