Before joining Pierson Ferdinand LLP, Benjamin served as Deputy General Counsel for UpHealth, Inc., a publicly traded healthcare technology company. In that role, he:

• Led internal legal efforts on $1.2 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

• Managed regulatory and commercial execution of nationwide business lines, including a digital health platform generating $240 million in proceeds.

• Oversaw reporting, corporate governance, and global compliance.

• Managed land use and real estate development initiatives, leasing, and strategic capital deployment for diverse business operations.

• Led enterprise litigation, insurance, and risk management programs across six entities.

At Pierson Ferdinand, Benjamin advises clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, multi-state and technology licensing, payor disputes, reimbursement, land use, leasing, capital deployment, and public-private partnerships. He helps organizations, from healthcare systems and technology companies to real estate developers and nonprofits, navigate complex regulations and advance strategic initiatives.
