About

Weatherly is a veteran private investment funds lawyer with broad-based general corporate expertise. Over the course of her career, she has formed funds of myriad sizes and strategies across multiple jurisdictions, worked with managers in exits and management team disputes, represented institutional and individual investors in private investment funds, and helped investment management clients and high net worth families in the creation of bespoke funds and fund networks.

  • In addition, Weatherly has represented both emerging companies and venture funds in venture financing deals, PE funds and corporate clients in acquisitions, and other corporate and individual clients across a range of complex corporate and contractual matters, from a framework agreement setting forth sponsorship terms for a UNCHR-sanctioned global index to international renewable energy facility refinancings to lecturing clients on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

In addition to practicing law, Weatherly has also worked as a trading analyst, an investment banking analyst, a generalist management consultant, and a professor.
