She assists experts with the digital forensic investigation to determine the cause and scope of a cybersecurity incident; notice obligations under state and federal laws concerning exposure of sensitive information; securing her client’s environment; negotiations with cyber-criminals; restoring and recovering affected systems; and drafting media and public relations statements to minimize reputational damage after an incident. Additionally, she counsels her clients on privacy compliance and risk management and guides her clients through regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
