About

Sid Steinberg is a valued advisor and litigator for clients throughout the United States, including in the healthcare, education, manufacturing and retail sectors. An accomplished trial lawyer, Sid also routinely provides risk management advice and strategic planning for clients. Clients have described Sid as their “go-to” lawyer and have said “I never have to worry if I’m working with Sid.”

  • Sid has been defending clients’ interests for over 25 years in state, federal and appellate courts, as well as before federal and state agencies throughout the country.

    Sid has experience ranging from defending large wage and hour and race discrimination class actions to cutting-edge single-plaintiff discrimination claims under Title VII, the ADEA, the FMLA and the ADA. Sid regularly defends clients’ interests before the EEOC, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor and state administrative agencies. He has also argued novel issues before multiple appeals courts throughout the country. From 2016-2018, Sid was Chair of the Employment and Labor Law committee of DRI, an international organization of attorneys defending business interests in litigation. DRI’s Employment and Labor Law committee is the largest employment law defense organization in the country. Sid is also a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and spoke at NACUA’S 2016 national convention in San Francisco.

    Sid has been the monthly employment law columnist for The Legal Intelligencer in Philadelphia for over 20 years. He has been named one of Philadelphia’s Super Lawyers in the specialty of Employment Litigation every year since 2012. His peers voted him for inclusion in the 2021 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America© in the category of Employment Law – Management and, in 2012, Martindale-Hubbell listed Mr. Steinberg as one of Philadelphia’s Top-Rated Lawyers.

    Sid is co-founder and President of the Live Like Blaine Foundation, which has provided leadership skills to over 1000 high school girls with a mission of “inspiring and empowering young women to be leaders through athletics.” He is also on the Executive Board of Harlem Lacrosse.
