About

Rachel is a commercial litigator, representing clients in complex civil litigation matters. She focuses her practice in business litigation, employment law and product liability. She advises clients across multiple industry platforms including transportation industries, health care institutions, restaurant and hospitality groups, vehicle franchises, and medical and pharmaceutical product leaders. Rachel also represents individual executives and business partners relative to compensation, ownership, and contract disputes.

  • Understanding that the hyper-competitive market brings high stakes disputes, Rachel helps clients navigate the ever-changing landscape through keeping up to date with industry related laws and regulations. When disputes occur, she represents clients in state and federal courts across the country. Her experience includes first and second chairing multiple jury trials, overturning a multi-million dollar jury verdict against a company in a discrimination matter as post trial counsel, setting legal standards relative to classification of retirement accounts under state law on summary judgment, as well as successful representation in matters related to protection of valued proprietary business information.

    Rachel also serves her clients in a strategic partnership role in the day to day legal complexities that arise in the operation of a business. She is consulted frequently on strategies for addressing the varied types of issues that occur, whether they are management, contract, or employment matters. In this way, Rachel is able to join the team as the business needs dictate to mitigate risk through the ever changing legal landscape.
