Privacy Tech E&O Litigator

Location: Open to any US location - CA, IL, TX preferred

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience representing clients in complex litigation involving data privacy, cyber security, and technology errors and omissions (E&O)

  • Senior-level knowledge of privacy laws, technology transactions, cybersecurity incidents, and professional liability

  • Strong litigation background, experience with regulatory investigations, and the ability to advise clients on risk mitigation strategies in the rapidly evolving landscape of privacy and technology law

  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 200, Law360 400, respected regional or sophisticated boutique firm (7 years out or more)

  • A portable book of $350K is preferred, but not required

Construction Litigator (Design Professional Clients)

Location: Open to any US location - Pacific Northwest preferred

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Construction law experience representing design professionals (architects, engineers, surveyors, etc.) against claims of professional negligence

  • Litigation generally involves contract claims over design changes alleged to have caused additional cost and/or delay in schedule, with some construction defect and bodily injury/wrongful death​

  • Mix of pre-trial workup (substantive/contentious motion practice/discovery, working closely with expert witnesses) and trial experience (federal, state, or tribal court, and/or arbitration)

  • Protean mind

  • Experience working with insurance carriers and coverage experience is a plus

Crypto/AI Transactional and Regulatory Lawyer (UK)

We are seeking a UK-qualified lawyer to advise on cutting-edge transactions and regulatory matters across cryptoassets, digital markets infrastructure, and AI-enabled products and services. The role involves guiding high-growth companies and established institutions through structuring, licensing, compliance, and commercial contracting in a rapidly evolving UK/EU regulatory landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver pragmatic, risk-aware solutions that enable innovation at scale.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in crypto, fintech, or AI matters, including advising on UK/EU regimes (e.g., FSMA/FCA perimeter, AML/CTF, e-money/payment services, MiCA, GDPR/UK GDPR, and developments relating to the EU AI Act and UK AI assurance frameworks).

  • Strong transactional and commercial skills, including drafting and negotiating technology, data, and platform agreements, token/asset structuring, strategic partnerships, and venture or M&A deals involving digital assets or AI capabilities.

  • Proven regulatory advisory capability: authorization and licensing analyses, governance and risk frameworks, compliance programs, product counseling, and stakeholder engagement with regulators and industry bodies.

Commercial Litigation and Insurance Defense Partner

We seek a seasoned litigator who has deep expertise in commercial litigation and insurance defense, command of insurer billing guidelines, and a demonstrated record in high-stakes litigation.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A true self-starter who takes ownership end-to-end, operates with sound judgment under pressure, and excels in high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional matters

  • Lead and manage a national docket of complex commercial and insurance defense matters from intake through resolution, including, without limitation, client communication, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, trial, and appeals

  • Own carrier and client reporting and compliance, including budgets, e-billing, guideline adherence, and audit-ready timekeeping and task coding

  • Develop and execute case strategy to drive efficient, favorable outcomes, including early resolution, dispositive motions, and settlement valuation in a value-add manner

We are seeking 2 highly skilled California-licensed Litigation Partners to join our growing practice. The candidates must have a strong background in commercial litigation and be equally equipped with substantive experience handling insurance defense matters.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Lead and manage commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution

  • Handle insurance defense matters, including coverage analysis and defense strategy

  • Supporting with CA procedure and strategy, to include arguing motions with the court

California CIPA Defense Litigation Partner

Location: Candidate must reside and practice in California

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in privacy litigation, insurance production, legal consulting, or a closely related field is required, with a demonstrated track record of originating and managing matters involving the California Invasion of Privacy Act, particularly court actions brought under Penal Code Section 637.2. Experience handling class action litigation, mass arbitration, or multi-plaintiff CIPA matters is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of digital technologies—including cookies, tracking technologies, chatbot platforms, and session replay tools—given the nature of modern CIPA litigation.

  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 200, Law360 400, respected regional or sophisticated boutique firm (7 years out or more)

International Tax and Transactional Partner

Location: Open to any US location

We are seeking an experienced international tax and transactional attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will advise U.S. and non-U.S. companies and investors, providing comprehensive tax and business law counsel in connection with U.S. and cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations. This role requires a client-focused professional who can navigate complex multi-jurisdictional tax structures and support the firm’s corporate and international practices.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Significant experience providing transactional and tax counsel on U.S. and international tax structuring matters, including inbound and outbound investments, multi-country joint ventures, acquisitions, divestments, and corporate reorganizations, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, document, and close complex cross-border transactions.

  • Proven track record of advising U.S. and foreign businesses and individuals in complex corporate tax structuring, commercial transactions, and M&A, as well as developing tax-efficient structures for outbound investments and operations, including counsel to private clients regarding the tax implications of their U.S. and non-U.S. holdings.

  • Experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing authorities, with a strong command of applicable U.S. tax law and regulatory frameworks governing international transactions.

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence, including the ability to develop deep familiarity with each client's business, industry, and culture, along with a willingness to engage in public speaking and thought leadership at domestic and international conferences on U.S. tax considerations.
