Highly experienced attorney - Lauren Langham - joins as Partner in Florida

Lauren brings a comprehensive real estate practice covering the Florida markets with an emphasis on retail, office, and industrial properties. Her scope is broad – including lease review, drafting, and negotiation; landlord-tenant dispute counseling and advocacy; loan documentation, due diligence and closings; loan workouts, modifications, and restructures; purchase and sales contracts, due diligence and closings; and property management and real estate brokerage agreements.
Other areas include real estate components of mergers, acquisitions and asset sales, secured transactions-based lending and bulk sales. Lauren serves as local counsel to asset and investment managers and servicers, and as local counsel in multi-state transactions. Lauren’s practice includes complex Florida documentary stamp and intangible tax analysis.
Lauren’s clients include financial institutions, business owners, property owners, real estate investors.

Lauren is the latest stellar recruit in PierFerd’s expanding Real Estate practice. She joins from Taylor English Duma, LLP. Commercial Litigation Partner, Leanne Prendergast, played an instrumental role in Lauren’s arrival.

Lauren holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from the University of Florida.
