Created by Charles de Gaulle in 1963, and awarded by the President of the French Republic, the Ordre national du Mérite recognizes significant contributions to France in areas such as business, civic life, culture, public service, and science.
A dual-qualified M&A lawyer in France and the United Kingdom, Odile has over 25 years’ experience in high-stakes transactions and cross-border corporate law. Her practice focuses on advising lenders and investors on structuring and executing impactful project developments internationally, notably across Africa. Odile counsels clients across a range of sectors including agriculture, consumer goods, defense, energy, healthcare, infrastructure, and transport.
Odile was presented with the insignia by the French Republic’s Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, at a ceremony in Paris, France on May 13, 2026.
