Benjamin Brickner joins from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, expanding PierFerd’s Financial Services and FinTech and Blockchain practices

NEW YORK, June 20, 2024 — Pierson Ferdinand LLP (“PierFerd”), a technology-driven full-service law firm proudly announces that Benjamin Brickner has joined as a partner in the Corporate Department. Brickner was previously a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP and is based in New York.

Brickner’s practice expands across corporate finance, securities and capital market transactions, providing counsel to clients on bank finance, venture financings, as well as SEC, broker-dealer and registered investment advisor compliance.

Brickner has a deep expertise in decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3-focused blockchain technologies, and digital asset transactions in the metaverse. Brickner has likewise advised numerous startups and early-stage FinTech companies on their financial regulatory obligations, assisted real-world asset tokenization projects, and guided businesses through the complex and quickly evolving legal and regulatory landscape surrounding FinTech and blockchain technology.
