His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and other high-stakes disputes, including technology and intellectual property matters, franchise and distribution conflicts, corporate governance disputes, employment and internal investigations, and high-exposure tort and products liability defense. He regularly appears in federal and state courts nationwide and has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation.

Ken’s approach is informed by his prior service as General Counsel and Chief Litigation Counsel of a global software company, where he managed the company’s litigation worldwide and advised senior executive leadership on strategy, risk exposure, and business operations across more than 100 countries. This in-house experience gives him a practical, business-oriented perspective that clients value in high-pressure situations.

In addition to his litigation practice, Ken conducts internal investigations and advises clients on risk mitigation, compliance, and governance, often in anticipation of or parallel to significant disputes.

Before joining Pierson Ferdinand, Ken was a partner at FisherBroyles LLP and previously practiced with Carlton Fields PA and Troutman Pepper LLP. He began his career as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, advising senior leadership on litigation, employment, and administrative matters and administering training on international and operational law.
