About

Julie is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Julie’s practice includes property acquisitions, leasing, ground leasing, condominiums, and planned unit developments, where she has worked with multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties. She also has extensive experience in the area of financing, having represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with the origination, acquisition, syndication, and disposition of mortgage loans, leasehold financings and subordinate debt, lines of credit, and post-closing modifications.

  • Julie works with clients across a multitude of industries including charter schools, restaurants, and those interested in Qualified Opportunity Zone investments. She serves as a trusted advisor to her clients throughout the entire lifespan of each transaction – from negotiating letters of intent and reviewing due diligence materials to coordinating and documenting the closing and continuing the representation after the closing. She is regarded for her ability to anticipate her clients’ needs and navigate any challenges that may arise during a transaction in order to advance their interests.

    Prior to joining Pierson Ferdinand, Julie was a Partner at Kleinbard. Before that, Julie served as a law clerk to Judge Pollak, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to Judge Shapiro, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
