With experience in claims administration for Financial and Professional Lines, such Cyber and Network Security Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Commercial Crime and Fidelity Insurance, Howard opines on complex insurance coverage matters, offers policy and endorsement drafting services and provides other coverage and claim monitoring-related services.

Howard recently served as a corporate risk advisor and thought leader at global brokerage firms. In this role, he acted as lead advisor and strategic risk officer to Fortune 500 clients with respect to cyber-risk and insurance implications and impact. With this experience, Howard blends risk consultancy with legal vision to provide clients cutting edge guidance and advice. Howard also has experience developing incident response teams for policyholders when he managed a cyber-claims portfolio at a specialty insurance carrier. This experience further supports Howard’s advisory work within the firm’s Cyber-Risk and Data Breach practice to offer clients risk management services, inclusive of developing and hosting table-top exercises, preparing incident response preparedness plans, performing third party contract reviews and policy compliance, among others.

Howard began his career as a commercial litigator which included insurance defense and represented business clients in various professional fields, such as technology and professional services. He also represented commercial insurers in insurance coverage disputes with policyholders.
