Edward Elia Zughaib has a wide range of experience in real estate and real estate finance, including loans, workouts, foreclosures, the purchase and sale of real property, and leasing of office, retail, and industrial space. Edward has represented regional and national lenders and borrowers in loans secured by real estate and other collateral and has represented owners, developers and investors in acquiring and developing land for retail, commercial, industrial and residential real estate projects and in acquiring and selling operating retail, office, multi-family and industrial properties.

  • Edward’s experience includes creating and administering complex reciprocal covenant and easement agreements for large office parks and mixed use developments. Edward has also represented both landlords and tenants with respect to office, retail and industrial properties on an international basis. Edward’s lending experience has included representation of Master and Special servicers of REMIC pools in numerous matters, including assumptions, loan modifications and consents. Edward is also experienced in lender and commercial borrower representation in foreclosure and workout matters with respect to real estate located in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
