About
Dessi Day is a Partner at Pierson Ferdinand in California. She represents employers in wage and hour class and representative actions, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and trade secret litigation. She advises employers on discipline, leaves of absence, accommodations, internal investigations, and HR policy compliance. Dessi represents businesses of all sizes and in most industry sectors. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California.

Dessi serves on the Board of Directors of DRI, the largest defense and corporate counsel bar association in the United States. She is the immediate Past Chair of the DRI Employment and Labor Law Committee, Vice Chair of the Membership Committee, Marketing Chair for the 2024 DRI Annual Meeting, and a long-time member of the steering committee and seminar planning team for the DRI Employment Law Committee.
She is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporation Counsel and a Vice Chair of the Employment Law Committee of the Federation.
She is also a member of IADC.
Dessi was selected as the Top 50 Women Leaders of San Diego for 2022, Outstanding Mothers of 2022 by Women We Admire. She was also selected as a Super Lawyer in 2024 in the area of Employment Litigation, Defense.
Dessi is a former Co-Chair of the Litigation Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
Dessi obtained her law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill where she served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Law and Commercial Transactions and was a member of the UNC Trial Law Academy team.
