Dan guides clients through all stages of disputes, from early case assessment through resolution, often strategically utilizing alternative dispute resolution. He works closely with in-house legal, IT, and cybersecurity teams to implement strategies that control costs, address regulatory concerns, and manage exposure. Beyond litigation, Dan applies his experience as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) to counsel organizations on information governance practices and assist clients with developing document retention, social media, cloud computing, and litigation readiness policies and practices.
A thought leader in eDiscovery, Dan previously led the eDiscovery practice at an AmLaw 100 firm. He advises clients on defensible and cost-effective approaches to identifying, collecting, searching and reviewing electronically stored information (ESI), including through data mapping, overseeing forensic collection efforts, negotiating ESI protocols, and implementing advanced approaches to data culling.
